I am looking to build a pc to run diablo 3 on max settings. I am trying to keep my pc below 600 if possible could stretch to 700 if needed.
Please let me know what you think of my build good and bad. I have no plans to overclock my pc now or in the near future.
Any opinions or insight would be super helpful as i was my first PC build to be successful and as simple as can be. Thanks in advance for all your help!

Also:
Is my graphics card a good choice? or is there a better one for a similiar price?
Would an intel i3 or i5 be better for me than the AMD i chose? and if so why?

Fortunately, D3 doesn't require a lot to run well. Here is something at your max budget. Blizzard games are notorious for running better on Intel CPU's. My i5 2400 and HD 5850 in my file server does really well for D3. Both of these would be faster than that.

What are your thoughts on this build?

should i look into a CPU cooler?
Also does the case i get make much of a difference?

The 4670k is an overclocker's chip. You cannot overclock with that board. You want 2 sticks of ram for dual channel. Even the non k 4670 isn't worth the extra cost over the 4440. The case has no cable management capability. That power supply isn't very good either. Your build actually costs a few $$ more than my last build and is slower for gaming. A GTX 660 is about even with an HD 7870 where the 750ti is similar to an HD 7850. A cooler isn't a bad idea. A coolermaster hyper TX3 is plenty for this build.
