This is a very strange issue at my office. I had someone call me about an issue printing a PDF document from a SAP website using the PDF plugin for Internet Explorer 9 running on Windows 7 Pro x64. The problem is when they want to print a range of pages from this PDF document opened within IE, the first page is oriented wrong. The document is oriented with a landscape aspect ratio, but the first page in the selected page range always prints in portrait. Everything The page is drawn correctly to scale (it is not squished or distorted) but it should be landscape as that is what's checked in the PDF plugin print wizard.

Another funny thing here is that if I print the same group of pages off twice, the first page is oriented correctly in landscape mode. So is the job possibly sitting in the printer's memory since it is a duplicate job?

I would recommend not using th plug in. Just download the PDF locally, confirm that all the pages are oriented correctly, and then print.

Well the PDF is opened with a frame on the page so there is no download link. I can try another browser but typically IE is best for this kind of thing. Is there a better PDF plugin for IE?
