My tp-link usb adapter is getting very dramatic speed fluctuations. For example using u-Torrent it will go from downloading at 900 kb/s to 14 kb/s.
How do i keep it at 900 kb/s constantly?
Thanks

1, WiFi 'speed' can fluctuate a lot. Neighbors, interference from other devices (microwave, etc)..

2. Torrent speed can fluctuate. You are not 'downloading' from a single source, but from the hard drives of random people or servers around the world.

Distance also plays a factor in WIFI strength/speed (I think). The farther you are from the router, the lower the WIFI strength, the lower the speed.

As for torrent speed, amount of seeders (people who already have some or all of files you have downloaded downloaded) also plays a factor. If you have 1 people seeding, naturally you get a low download speed.

If you don't want that many speed fluctuations then go for Petarded's advice.

you can try setting utorrent to high priority (right click downloading torrent, priority, high). also allocate more bandwidth in the router settings to your computer. Try changing the Ghz channel you are on, if its at channel 2 try 10 (high vs lower, see what works for your situation).
