Hey guys
I just got a new GPU. It is the ASUS RADEON R9 290 4GB PCI-E HDMI/DVI/DP.
I uninstalled my old drivers and installed this GPU. It seemed to work out good, but after about an hour of gaming (WoW) my computer froze and i had to restart.
This happens every 1-2 hour.

My PC Spec:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Processor 3.2 GHz
RAM: 8 GB
GPU: ASUS RADEON R9 290 4GB PCI-E HDMI/DVI/DP.
PSU: Club 3D 1000w
I have DirectX 11

Any solutions?

I have checked and my temperatures on my GPU and CPU is around 50-60 Celsius, but still I get theses random freezes.

The R9 290 produces incredible amount of heat, I heard the GPU can operate at 95 degrees under load, at least the reference card does. I am not sure what could be the problem, at first it seemed like a PSU problem, but your PSU should easily be able to handle your system. You can do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the drivers and if that doesn't solve your problem, maybe you should RMA the card.

I have already returned one card, where I had the same problem. That card was the standard one and not ASUS version of it. I had the same problems with that card.
