Trying to get Windows 7 on new computer with old hard drive

I recently built a new computer that has a old hard drive with a OEM version of Windows 7 on it. I've been searching every where to try and find a cd with the key in it so I can fix the issue, but it seems that no one sells the cd anymore.

My question is, is there any way I can install windows 7 again on my old hard drive without the disk or do I need the disk in order for it to work.

  1. Question 1: Do you have a valid license key? Not OEM which is tied to the old motherboard?

You can download the the Windows 7 ISO from here, but without a license key, it's not going to do you any good.

You're not going to find a Windows 7 DVD in a retail store anymore, but you can still find it online
