Hi everyone,

I am interested in getting some custom sleeved cables for my PSU and graphics card. I think the cables are compatible but I am not entirely sure, please tell me if they are. These cables are from NZXT: http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/44-cb-6v-premium-cable.html
The PSU is an Antec High Current Gamer Modular 750w : http://www.antec.com/product.php?id=706266&fid=5022035
And my GPU is an Asus GeForce GTX 760 Direct CUII: http://www.asus.com/au/Graphics_Cards/GTX760DC2OC2GD5/
Thanks in advance

Solution
You pretty much cannot guarantee that a) the pin key will match, and b) the pin layout will be the same at the PSU. Straight plugin at the PSU by foreign cables would be a bad bad idea.

The end connections of all psu's are identical. a 6pin pci-e is identical on the nzxt, antec, asus. They have to be. The only connectors that have any variance is the connectors on a modular psu, where the cables are usually proprietary to the psu series, even as far as specific psu's.

So, the extensions are good, they will work just fine for pci-e to pci-e connections.

Basically, you'll be able to extend your existing cables with sleeved extensions from nzxt, but not replace the existing psu cables.

I was asking if I would be able to plug the NZXT cable straight into my PSU to my graphics card. I could provide a picture of the sockets on my PSU if it helps (it is a modular psu). But i guess i could route the existing PSU cables to the back of my case, plug the new ones in and route it back out to the GPU?
