RAM compatibility with ASUS Maximus VI Hero

I'm a noob building my first computer. I bought F3-14900CL10D-16GGBXL. I had looked on the G.SKILL site and it said this was compatible with the hero, pcpartpicker has it listed as compatible, but in the user guide it is not listed in the qualified vendors list?

Before I open the package or send it back, I was hoping someone would be able to tell me if it is indeed compatible, will I run into issues trying to run this memory? Did I make a stupid purchase?

Best solution

it is compatible. It just didn't make the Asus vendor list.

set to xmp in bios and your good to go.

Yes good to go, have run most all the RipJaws, Sniper and Trident sets on my Hero - and the RJ X set is a very good choice
