I think my HDD is dying. How can I be sure?

I've started getting these freezes, either browsing or gaming and I believe it's my HDD.

How can I be sure?

Make sure SMART is enabled in the BIOS. Open up task Manager, and watch to see what, if any, programs are spiking the CPU usage, or hard drive writes.

Crystal Disk Info is a free program that will tell you the health of your hard drive.
