I have a Asus X401U BIOS issue

I have a Asus X401U As soon as I turn it on it asks for a password. I tried removing the Cmos batttery. No joy. I looked and couldnt fid a BIOS/Password reset jumper on the mobo. I am at a loss. Every other computer I have had if you remove the CMOS battery it resets the BIOS and any passwords. Can anyone help or point to a place to help

I have the machine is disassembled. I reassembled it and still asking for a BIOS password. Next would be replacing the mobo? The BIOS chip is as in most laptops hard wired to the board.
