Now I know that one key can only be active on one PC at a time normally but I found something interesting while looking at my CD key for Windows 8.
Initially my upgrade Win8 Pro key from the upgrade program started with something like YTMPW. I then also got the promo key to add Windows Media Center on for free, and that key starts with like BMTPW.
When using two different utilities on said PC it is showing the WMC key as my active key. With this in mind, do you think I could just use the base Win8 Pro key on another PC perfectly fine or would it throw up a conflicting activation?
