My Sony Laptop Model PCG-7153L will not load Windows or anything else. It will not repair through the laptop options either. It has Windows 7. I am not the smartest with computers....PLEASE help me get this fixed. I need info and photos as well as some other things on the computer. I am getting that a disk has failed and to press control alt and delete. I have done this many times and still nothing. Is there a repair disc that I can download to fix this or what do I need to do? Thank you in advance for your help

If the hard drive drive has failed you will need to replace it with a new one and re-install Windows on to it using your Recovery Discs.

The only way to rescue data from a failed hard drive is to send it to a data recovery specialist. You should have prepared for hard drive failure by backing up your data to a another hard drive before problems like this arise.

You can try installing the drive into an external hard drive enclosure when you get your laptop up and running again, and see if the drive can be accessed for file recovery, but that will depend on just how faulty the drive is.
