GPU Fluctuations on BF4

I'm on a Lenovo Y570 laptop. Why does the gpu fluctuate on this game so much? I get at least 50fps and I get lag spikes every 20-40 seconds. Sometimes the lag is so bad, the graphics freeze for 3 seconds straight. I've looked for threads on this and there are so many without solutions. I would just like a final word to see if I should not play the game on this laptop lol. It handles so many games really well, except this one.

Running afterburner, Max temp is 67C (external cooling).

It's BF4 being poorly optimized... still... you're not alone with issues with that game.

Well, for starters, BF4 has always had some issues with its programming. Even now I don't think they're all fixed. Could just be a bug. Laptop graphics are integrated, so there's not much you can do to break them like standard cards.

Make sure none of your cores are parked. You want them operating at 100%. Google it, your processor should fall in to this. Windows can park cores and cause huge fluctuations in-game.
