Mirroring Hard drives

Hi all, Do you have to have windows 7 full, to mirrior hard drives through windows 7. For bios RAID 1 do both hard drives have to be blank?

Yes, the drives should be preferably blank, new and the same make model and capacity.

PS: Most probably you mean you're going to install Win 7 on a RAID 1 setup, so, you want to know if you need the full version of Win 7, yes, would most probably be the answer, plus, you'd need the raid drivers too....
