Ok I have z87-k motherboard and recently I noticed that the led on it is lit all the time even when the PC is shut down. The led is glowing in green which I assume is a good thing however I don't think i've even seen it being on all the time. I'm somehow worried and I want someone to confirm that that's normal so that i can get on with my life.

That is normal for the Asus board. It basically means power is good.

The LED sits between chipset and first PCI slot, and stays on, until PSU switched or disconnected from mains supply.

Yea exactly, when I turn off the psu the led goes off. So that means the led should be on all the time? And if by some chances one day it doesn't glow that's bad?
