Okay, so I've been eyeing the crap out of mt GTX 780 Classified. but I realized it might be better dropping back to the 770 Classified for this PC as well and instead using the extra money to upgrade the motherboard and CPU, etc...

EVGA Bronze 600B, i5 3330 3.0, 8 GB Kingston 1600Mhz Ram, DVD-RW, 2 TB WD.

I need with to cost around $900 maybe $950 This includes 770 Classified, at least 1 more of my monitors which prices is $181. which is like $320 left over in my budget.

or if you can think of a better set up. I need to in the future power 3 monitors, I work for an independent game developer so I work within lots of 3d modelling programs and game engines.
Needs good GPU power for rendering and so on.

Solution
so long as your not overclocking i would just stick with what you have already and get the monitor and the 780 honestly. the 3330 is just a locked underclocked 3570 and shouldnt have any problem at all handling a 780 and your pcie slot is most likely a 2.0 and gpus cant saturate past that right now any way. i would save the cpu mobo upgrade for when something with a better performance gain comes out. the 4670k only has a 5-7% gain over the 3570k so there really is no point.

and sell the current cpu in its mobo for the price of the monitor. the new i5 3330 are on pcpartpicker for 188 dollars so i dont think you will have a problem selling the cpu and mobo for 181 and you will get the evga of your dreams

if you dont plan on overclocking the cpu at least go with a h87 chipset but if you ever want to sli you will have to with z87 as it is the only chipset that does so

That's a good build. Now should I got for the full system upgrade or, just upgrade my GPU to the 780 Classified instead. Is it really all that worth as my i5 3330 handles itself pretty well in everything I do.

You save me again. and yes its a pcie 2.0. Until the 3.0's start giving me a reason to look at it I'll stick with 2.0.

With cooling I've heard you can OC the 3330 to 3.6 which ain't too shabby.

In today's market 4 cores at 3.0 is still more than enough to handle anything you can throw at it. Seeing as though most games and programs aren't optimized to use multiple cores. The only really upside to upgrading to a newer i5 or i7 would just be the faster at which it would take to bake and render down certain details that don't currently cause me problems anyway.

and since you actual would benefit from it try to save up for a cpu/mobo combo in haswell-e or the series after broadwell, haswell-e is upposed to have around a 40-50% gain in tasks that you would benefit from and most likely going to be priced at the x79 prices so you could get a 4 core i7 and mobo for around 500-600. i dont really do any programming or game developing, though it would be awesome, but from the specs i have seen it is more geared toward that side rather than gaming

I think I'll wait till the next fical year to upgrade CPU and motherboard see where we are then. By then most chipsets will have dropped in price and the market for games and such will really not have evolved passed where we are now by much.
