I have a Sony VAIO Laptop (SVE151G13W). It has an AMD Radeon 7550/7650M HD Graphic Card. In my Catalyst Control Centre I see the following information regarding my currently installed drivers :-
Driver Packaging Version - 8.932.5.7-120209a-134725C-Sony
Catalyst Version - 12.6
2D Driver Version - 8.01.01.1223
Direct3D Version - 7.14.10.0889
OpenGL Version - 6.14.10.11411
Catalyst Control Center Version - 2012.0209.2326.41882

Obviously, these drivers are seriously outdated. I have no knowledge regarding installation and un-installation of drivers. Please help me upgrade my drivers to the latest possible version.
Thanks in advance.

After filling out the form I am taken to the Driver Verification Tool download which is incompatible with Sony laptops (it says that just below the download link).
The following notebooks are not compatible with this tool:
Notebooks equipped with switchable graphics
Toshiba® notebooks
Sony® VAIO® notebooks
Panasonic® notebooks

I downloaded this exact driver (about 220 Mb in size). It installed AMD Catalyst Install Manager along with an HDMI Driver. The patch notes on the website state that the package contains Catalyst Control Centre and Drivers but all it installed on my system was the Catalyst Install Manager. After a restart my resolution was reverted to 1280x768 (previously it was 1366x768). Then, I had to reinstall the driver that was provided by the seller (which is 2-3 years old, and which is the one I am having now). I really dont know what to do.
And yes, I am having windows 7 X64.

I have included a screenshot of my current driver details.

Nope. Still the same issue. I cleaned out all the existing drivers, etc., then installed this. But all it installs on my system is Catalyst Install Manager. No drivers or Catalyst Control Centre is installed. I'm left with a 1280x768 res screen.
