need advice on a 23'' monitor

Hi,

I need to buy a 1080p (23''-24'') monitor, something in the 150-200 price range with no integrated audio possibly.
Does anyone know about a good IPS panel (can't stand TN washed out colors) in that price range with good response/GTG times since I tend to be pretty aware of ghosting during gaming?
I was looking at the VS239H by ASUS, can anyone confirm this is a good choice or suggest something else? Also, does anybody know what the difference is between the vs239h, vs239h-p and vs239hr?

The ASUS VS239H is one the highly praised affordable options for someone who needs maximum viewing angles served by it's IPS display, and you can't go wrong with that monitor and have seen many people being more than satisfied with it, whether it was for gaming, watching movies, and just to have at the office. As for the question regarding the difference between the models you listed, the model "P" is the only one that exists, the others may be typos of other completely different models that ASUS offers. Hope this helps you and certainly recommend the VS239H. :)

I would stick with the "P" model as it seems to be their newest revision of the options. Those other models are even discontinued and are in short supply on sites like amazon, so stay away from those.

I am from Europe (Italy to be exact) and I absolutely need to buy from Amazon or some other online shop, since I am not near any actual shop that has that monitor. On Amazon (.it,.fr,.de and other european ones) as you said, I can only find the H version. Should I buy directly from asus website?

Edit: I just noticed it is not even possible to buy directly from Asus. Should I go with the H version then even it maybe discontinued?
