Hey all,

I've had great luck in the past so I hope I can call on the community once more for some help...

I have recently changed my broadband provider, from Sky to Xilo.
The change is already going ahead and should be done in a weeks time.
As part of my order I was given the option of purchasing a new modem/router with Xilo, however I decided instead to buy my own so I can ensure its top quality.

The routers available to me at that time were:
Technicolor TG582n
Technicolor TG589vn

The reason I need a new router is that I am fairly sure my current sky router/modem will not work with the new connection (that it is limited to sky as an isp). Instead of struggling with flashing the router only to find it is not compatible (which knowing my luck was bound to happen) I figured a new buy would be best.

As such I am hoping you can help me select one.
After contacting Xilo they recommended that...

"The main thing to look for in the routers, is if they have a broadcom chipset. This is because they have the best compatibility with the equipment at the exchange."

Similarly the confirmation email informed me...

"Pro customers also need to ensure their router is ADSL2+ compatible."

In summery then, a good wireless modem/router, for 4 people to use, with a broadcom chipset and is at least ADSL2+ compatible.
If it also supports FTTC for any future fiber-optic line I get, that would also be a plus.

Price wise I was hoping for £40/£70...

I look forward to hearing what you all think
