A few months back I purchased this board and fully upgraded my PC. I use it religiously and I've loved the board, but just last night when I got home from work, I tried waking up my PC for some after work gaming and found that it wouldn't but. I power-cycled the PC and started to boot again. That's when I received a message stating that the BIOS had been corrupted and needed to be repaired/restored to an earlier image or something like that. I proceeded with the repair and got to the Windows boot selector screen. I tried to run the windows repair to no avail, so I gave a normal start up a shot and it started to boot and then flashed the blue screen and restarted. I figured that I may have needed to q-flash the board, so I downloaded and extracted what I thought to be the proper and latest version of the BIOS file, tried to flash via thumbdrive, but it wouldn't take the file.

I contacted support and the board should still be under warranty, but they haven't gotten back to me yet.

Does anyone have any idea what happened or what I should do next?

To add more information, this hasn't happened before and I was using the PC that same morning.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Thanks for that. I'll give that a shot. I did however realize that I was trying to use the wrong revision's bios files, so when I get home from work, I'll try to flash it and then give your suggestion a try if it fails.
