Hi folks i'm quite new bout APU processors as i wanted to upgrade for my desktop and seems like APU was the budget type for me. well i bought everything and even a clean installation with win7 64bit. Everthing was fine but the ram frequencies i'm not sure if i'm doing it right

i'm having a Asus A88XM-A motherboard / APU A10-7850k / Apacer DDR3 GIANT II 8GB PC2133 ram. i already set the profiles for the ram configuration following the guidance from forum but somehow i don't know if i'm doing it right. Do check the pictures

So based on the pictures am i doing it correctly as if it is running on 2133mhz on the ram. please help me!!! Why the CPU-Z shows my frequencies so low???

looks like something is being lost in translation between your mobo settings and when you get into windows. Did you save your settings before exit?

Looks correct. DDR3 memory has a Double Data Rate (hence the name), which means that DDR3-2133 actually runs at 1066 MHz. This is what CPU-Z displays on the memory page.

Didn't realize CPUz reported things that way, so it should all be working good.

That's their default boot speed in the SPD. It's lower than the rated speed on the memory because the risk of initial problems booting are less likely at lower clocks. Yours is set at 1600, which is actually a little faster than usual - most default to 1333 AFAIK. The actual speed the RAM runs at is then configured in BIOS - in this case it's set to 2133 MT/s which equals 1066 MHz because of the double data rate. So all the info in your screenshots makes sense and checks out. The intricacies of what the various numbers mean just aren't really explained anywhere.
