PROBLEM:

Hey everyone,

my problem is that when i go to install the latest 13.12 Drivers it will give me an error saying that it failed to install the "AMD Graphics Driver". this problem comes from me having the 14.2 beta but it was not using my clocks to the max in some games. for example my gpu would be at 1020mhz while playing bf4 but it should have been at 1070mhz becasue that is the stock clock on the card and it used to do it. so i uninstalled the 14.2 beta but when i went to reinstall the 13.12 driver it wouldent install the graphics driver and the catalyst version would be stuck at 14.1 instead. i have tried multiple time to uninstall them and reinstall the stable drivers but it will NOT work. i have removed all amd folders/files from my drive including my registry. i have run driver sweeper and driver fusion and still same error. i need help badly becasue now i cant run games OR get my second screen to work. i have looked EVERYWHERE and this is my last resort. if i cant fix the problem i will have to reinstall windows which I DO NOT want to do. not in the least. i can post logs/messages if you want. PLEASE HELP!

Solution
i fixed this issue by downloading the AMD Uninstall Utility from their driver website. It did remove my USB drives but I manged to reinstall then with a ps2 keyboard. although now in the Catalyst Version it still says 14.2 but i installed the 13.12..... but I don't care. i fixed the problem i can now play games!!!

O.k., what you should do is keep those 14.2 beta drivers and overclock your card with Furmark as a tester. This let's you have full control of your card's clock. OR you could put the displays on to your intel motherboard, take out the card, and reboot. THen shutdown, install the card and try it again. Last option is try to look for the driver in Control Panel under Progam uninstall. THen download the drivers. http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows%207%20-%2064
