Hello, a friend gave me these recommendations. My budget is 1500$ and I wish to get the best bang for my buck, so if you see anything that can be improved tell me. I plan for this desktop to last me atleast 3 years with playing games with ease. I play on a tv 1920x1080, and plan to play titanfall on ultra, and to clusterfuck skyrim with mods and enbs. That's why I chose gtx 770 4gb, but I don't know if i should replace that with the gtx 780 3gb what would be better?
here it is
BY THE WAY I do live in CANADA so thing will look more expensive.

I'd say go for that and enjoy your new PC. The only thing I'd change is I think you can find a more efficient PSU if you keep looking. for 90 bucks, you should be able to find a gold standard at that same wattage.

Looks fine, although I would get a different motherboard, a 780 and a CPU cooler. I would also not spend that much on the case if you're going for bang for the buck, but that's just me lol the 770 is a great card, and those are all solid components, but not the best bang for the buck.

My comment still stands. Look for a gold rated PSU. You should be able to find one for around that same price. In fact.....

You don't have to pick that one, but you should look around a bit more for a better PSU

There is no difference for a normal person between gold and bronze or even platinum and bronze. It's almost a waste of money. The only people who would benefit are miners, folding at home, or 24/7 operation. There are plenty of bronze rated psus that are better than gold ones.

It's all about the electric bill. It does make some difference. Also, if there's literally NO difference in price, why not get the more efficient one. Not to sound like an environmentalist freak, but it does help a little.

All about the electric bill? There's about a 5% difference in efficiency between bronze and gold. It's about the quality of the unit. If the same quality is the same price, then yeah, go for it. But it's not worth paying more money for higher efficiency for the normal person. The normal person may see a $1 difference per month. Maybe.
