pc boot up issues

Please help,when i boot up my pc my keyboard doesn't load until it gets to the login part, i want to get into the motherboard settings to change my boot priority, but cant due to the keyboard not loading. can i get to the boot settings while actually on windows?? Thanks

Don't know what mobo, but sounds like you have a USB or wireless keyboard, have you updated the BIOS to the current version? Might try a PS3 type keyboard

my motherboard is an msi z87-g1 pc mater and i do have a usb keyboard,also yes i have updated the bios

Most likely the "USB Legacy" option is disabled in your motherboard, you'll need a PS/2 keyboard or a USB to PS/2 adapter to enter your BIOS and enable said function.
