is the core i5 stock cooler fan usable as a case fan for more airflow? or is it not right size to mount inside tower?

Looking to make use of a CPU cooler fan as airflow fan for mid tower case. First build and using after market liquid cooler. Haven't receive parts yet to check. Courious to see if I can remove stock cooler fan to use inside case somewhere

It's possible, but not worth it. They are loud and don't push very much air. Your best bet is to just spend like $10-$15 and get a good quiet fan.
