I am running a custom build Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit Build 7601 and the blu-ray drive I have is an Asus BW-16D1HT.
Whenever I put in a disc that has a setup.exe (Microsoft Office 2007, Windows 7 Ultimate DVD, Asus BD Suite disc, etc.) it will not run.
It reads the disc perfect, but Windows will not open it.
It will recognize and run .msi files, but I get this message when trying to open the drive directly:
When I open the setup.exe file from the disc, I get this message:
I go into Safe Mode and still get the same problem.
All the discs I have that cannot run setup on this computer run fine on my other computer.
The only disc I have that will run setup is my motherboard chipset DVD which is an Asus A88X-PRO AMD.
I have never had this problem until yesterday, March 13, and have run system restore back as far as it will go to March 9.
I have scanned for malware/viruses with Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes Pro, and Exterminate-it.
I have searched the internet for solutions, but with no avail, so I hope someone here can find a solution!

The funny thing is, I can open the drive in a new window just fine.Windows cannot find 'D:\'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again.

Even when I extracted the contents of the disc to my desktop to try and run the setup, I get the same error.Windows cannot find 'D:\setup.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again.
