I recently assembled a new gaming computer and found that the computer was recognising all 16gb of RAM but only 7.95gb was usable. I have four DIMM slots and have them in DIMM 2 and 4, I've tried rearranging and also tried msconfig with max memory but nothing worked. My BIOS doesn't seem to have any settings to fix this, and in task manager it says that the other 8gb of RAM is Hardware Reserved!

XFX Radeon HD 7850 2gb DD
MSI 970A-G43 Motherboard
16gb installed RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
