(03G-P4-3784-KR) v (03G-P4-2884-KR)

Ok, i have some money and want to buy one of these cards. I know that the 780 ti is the better card but is this difference noticeable during gameplay. I play mostly RPGs, Strategy, and some Action games. That being said, I want to play all the games I have on Ultra and would like to continue doing so for the foreseeable future {(games in my current rotation) Broken Age, Stick of Truth, Half Life 2, Bioshock Infinite, & Skyrim}. 200$ extra for the 780 ti seems a little profligate for some extra cores and a slightly higher mhz - unless of course the performance difference is noticeable during gameplay. So is it worth it guys. I want the best but if the best is only slightly better then the 2nd option will suffice. Please let me know and any links or further info you can give on your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Again Guys,
Vesuvius

vanilla skyrim isn't a good measure for comparing different gk110's. something like crysis 3 is a better gpu horsepower measure. that said, the regular 780 is still a very fast card on its own. if your gaming at 1080p, you will never notice the difference in games between a 780 and 780ti. at 1440p, and in a few very heavy hitting games, the 780ti will allow for a notch up in the AA settings, like 2xmsaa to 4xmsaa, but that is still a miniscule jump and hard to notice at that resolution. i would say save your money and get the 780. last i saw you can get the evga 780 classified from newegg for $509 after rebate here in the usa. that is hands down the best 780 made and allows for some impressive overclocks.
