Will this hurt my PC?

Hey Guys!

I leave my PC on for hours sometimes, like I'm doing now, while I download Steam games. I go do something else while I wait and I shut the door to the room with my PC in it so my dog doesn't trash it. I was wondering if doing that is hurting the airflow in my PC case... Would it help if I opened a window? Or is leaving it in a closed room OK? Should I just turn the fan on?

Thanks Guys!

Nothing would change if your room ambient temperature is not too high i wouldn't worry about that, BTW i also leave my PC to run 24 hours in closed room!

It should be fine, if you are just downloading and not really utilizing the CPU and GPU it should run fairly cool. If your room is getting really hot then I would throw the fan on. Worse case scenario your system should force shut down if it experiences unsafe temperatures.

No it won't hurt your PC. PC's don't have feelings! :D

. . . Just blow out your computer every once and a while to get the dog hair and dust out. You'll be fine.
