I am looking for a graphics card update. My options are either a GTX 660, 760, or a R9 270x. Any opinions on these, and which of these is best bang for the buck. My specs are below.

FX-6100
18gb G-Skill Sniper Ram
Sabertooth 990 FX
1000W PSU
Sparkle GTX 560 2gb
Windows 8.1 Pro

i recommend u to go for r9 280x for more bucks u can add so that u be able at neck to neck performance of gtx 770. r9 280x its cheaper then gtx 770 and will run any game at ultra high setting for a single monitor 1080p gameplay as u already have amd reg i recommend getting an amd gpu too

760 for sure if you don't get a reference cooler version. I've got the reference cooler on my 760 and it sure is loud, even when playing Dota 2-- not a very demanding game. : (

They are roughly the same price right now because of bitcoin and the like plus the 770 is faster

for the cpu you have i would go for the r9 270. mantle doesn't have a strong foot hold on many games yet but it SHOULD (real world benchmarks are king hard to find right now) push you further with that cpu. if you were running an intel build like an I5 then i would be all for the 760 (i'm kinda a NVIDIA fanboy personally)

Is there any major difference between the 270 or 270x, if any?

The 270x is basically a slight factory OC of the 270 slightly faster

That Sapphire R9 270X on Amazon is a great deal right now, but if you're willing to spend $250, your best option is a GTX 760 - no discussion.

$200

$250
get this:http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Dual-Link-Graphics-0...

The EVGA option is much better if your willing to spend the money otherwise the Sapphire is the way to go.

Thanks for your help! quick question. Any difference between the amazon card vs these 2?

Cars 1

Card 2

Vision Tech is a better brand with a better warranty out of those two.

Sapphire: Better brand 2 yr warranty.
Vision tech: lifetime warranty on the card (don't know if it is any good though).
