there should be some hidden files try to check it out . . otherwise unplug it and then plug it again on different controller

then format it . . no other options available . . cause it happens if any file system error occurred ...
turn off the recycle bin, get rid of system restore and all restore points, and turn hibernate off. Set your page file on the drive to none and move it to a different drive. If no other drive, make it small like 512mb as long as you have a lot of ram (8gb, 16gb are fine for small page file).
Make sure your internet temp folder is set to a max of 50mb and run disk cleanup to get rid of temp items.
