So I've had my pc which I pre built from ibuypower for about 1 year and a half now... so I was playing a game then all of a sudden the pc shutdown and restarted... i checked the temps before it happened too and everything seemed fine... but anyway, I let the pc restart and tried to start a game. Right when then game opened the pc shutdown. So I thought I might have a bad stick of ram so I took one out left the other in.. started the pc opened a game and played a game for about 10min so I thought I just had a bad stick of ram. So I closed the game, shut off the pc and put the other stick in. When I started a game the pc crashed and rebooted again. So i was sure I had found the problem. So I put the stick of ram in that worked before and started a game.. and then the PC crashed. So I guess that it wasnt the ram. So the pc shutdown and the lights turned on like it was going to reboot. But instead it just shutdown. Now whenever I try to turn the pc on all the lights turn on like its going to start, all the fans start up then it shuts down. So now it just wont boot up at all. Anyone have an idea?

Specs:
EVGA gtx 780 FTW
i73770k (3.5)
16gb ram
800w psu

That sounds like your PSU, unless you've somehow developed cold solder joints on your mobo. I can't imagine anything else that would cause your PC to immediately shut down other than a power problem, or something has lost the ability to regulate it's temperature. Have you done the sniff test on your PSU yet? Does it allow enough time to see if the fan spins before it shuts down? The easiest think may be to just go pick...

Hey man,

Any recent overclocking or voltage tweaks?
Does it complete a Power On Self Test (POST) and make any beeping noises?
Have you removed all hardware to try and further isolate the problem?
Removed the CMOS or used clearing jumper?

I haven't done any overclocking or tweaks ever. Ive removed the cmos and took out the gpu and set my hdmi into the motherboard for onboard graphics. Ive done everything I can think of. Still wont start up. There is no beeping noises, the led lights come on and fans startup then it just shuts down. Is it my psu?

The easiest think may be to just go pick up another PSU, plug it in (no need to dismantle the whole PC right now, just swap out the power connectors. That should tell you pretty quickly if the PSU is the issue. I hope this helps.
