Hello all, I have been having some issues with my desktop computer restarting randomly. It happened first last night in the middle of a diablo 3 hardcore session which unfortunately led to my characters permanent demise. I left it alone last night and just turned it back on today a couple of minutes ago. It turned but as soon as it go to the windows 8 logo it turned off and restarted. This time is did turn on all the way but as soon as I went into control panel and into the action center it restarted again. I am currently typing this post on the desktop, hoping that it wont turn back off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
some quick specs for the desktop are I5 3570k, 8gig ram, sli gtx 570's, Samsung ssd, and barracuda 2tb. windows 8 64bit.

Tricky one, could be anything from a sticky pwr switch to a corrupt OS! You've omitted the one detail that might be of use - your Mobo...
If your rig will run long enough check out your OS
First try System File Checker
Winkey plus 'X'
Choose Command Prompt (Admin)
Type sfc /scannow then Enter

It finds and fixes errors in Windows, but doesn't always report them. Run it and see if the fault disappears after re-booting your system
If corrupt files are found that can’t be fixed, try

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Re-run SFC

To view CBS Log

findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >sfcdetails.txt

Search C drive for sfcdetails.txt or navigate to C:\Windows\System32 and scroll down.

Thanks for the response. I somehow made two different posts about this and have received some feedback on the other post. The comp wouldn't even turn on by the time I got back from work so I replaced my power supply and removed one of my 570's because it is a 600watt thermal take and probably wouldn't handle both cards very well. Seems to be running great and I haven't had any issues at all. Thanks again
