Older AM3 socket question

So my girlfriend had had nothing but problems with her current mother board. It has issue on start up consistently and recently her on board sound has gone out. Now I know I can fix this issue with a sound card but since we have had so many issue we are just going to replace the motherboard. Here is my problem, when I looked up her socket type it showed a AM3 now when I searched motherboards there is only 2 option on Newegg. Too top it all off the two options that it showed was a open box and the other was out of stock. Now here is the issue besides the 2 options. I know only some motherboards that are AM 3+ support AM 3 but when I was searching her socket type I ton of AM 3+ options came up in the search. All I did was type in her processor. Her processor is a AMD Phenom II x6 1045T. I need a new motherboard, any idea or options I should check?

I'm going to add to this. I just looked up AM 3 Motherboards on amazon and the only thing that came up was one option close to $200.00. Tons of AM 3+ options yet again
