I recently built my first gaming/editing rig, moving away from my now underpowered (and retrospectively overpriced) Macintosh setup.

Everything has gone smoothly, but I've yet be able to boot directly into Windows from my SSD- I have to pass through the bios and select which drive I want to boot from.

Im currently using a z87 Sabertooth and an ADATA SP900 ssd and a WD Blue Hard drive.

How can I set my computer so that I don't have to spend time choosing which drive to boot from everytime? Thanks

If you just built it, then you should at least discinnect the hard disk and fix the OS on the SSD. Only the device that will be booted from should be connected when installing the OS.

There's a screen that should display the SSD, the hard disk and other SATA devices, if any. Are the SSD and hard disk connected to the Intel controller (the 6 dark SATA connectors)?
