Hi there how are you?

I'm having the following issue, out of nowhere one day when I went to turn on my desktop, the cpu turn on alright but the monitor didn't respond, it was like in "sleep mode". I moved the mouse, touch some keys but nothing...this was the list of things I did so far.

- Check mouse and keyboard connections, they were alright.
- Check monitor connection
- Invert the monitor cable (the one connected to the cpu I changed to the monitor plug)
- Change the monitor cable
- Press the cpu button for like 30/60 seconds to discharge it, and nothing.
- Test the monitor on a notebook and works alright
- Change the monitor, doesn't work, it appears to be in "sleep mode"
- check every connection on the cpu, it was alright.
- I did a clear cmds according to the manufacture website, nothing.
- Took my wifi card out, nothing
- Took the memory ram out, nothing, no beep at all.
- Unplugged the cd reader, nothing
- Unplugged the hard disk, nothing.
- I dismantle the all cpu and assemble it again, turn it on...but nothing.

I'm running out of ideas of what can I do. For the test that I did, I think that the issue might be in the motherboard, don't know if it would be in the monitor plug or where.

Kind regards

Update:
Cpu turns on cause the lights are on
The cd reader works
The cpu makes the normal noise when starts up.

Hi.
I did that.
Right after i turn on the cpu, the keyboard lights blink (all 3 of them) but then they turn off. After this if I press Caps, num or scroll they don't turn on.
Same with the mouse, I have an optical mouse, so the red beam blinks but doesn't turn on.
