I have a Dell Optiplex GX620-MT that will not power up. No fan, noise, or anything. I checked the power supply and there is proper voltage at the pins that should have voltage. Is this most likely a bad motherboard?
try unplugging everything hard drive, dvd, all but one stick of ram, basically just the mobo and power it up and see. Your psu can test correct disconnected but when plugged in it can fail trying to power everything

I tried testing as you indicated. One light on the motherboard, labeled "Aux Power" came on, nothing else. No other lights, sounds, or anything.
If I remove the motherboard would I be able to test the motherboard's connector by the soldered connections on the back to see if voltage is getting there? Is that feasible?
