Hi Building a new rig for a client.He was running a P4EE with a DG33PR with 4g DDR2 with a 7800GTX 512MB

He wants A new system that he can Play games @ Good settings settings /Run His VMs,Convert Video Files and Audio Edit,Sound Forge Or something Like that.

The VMs And The Sound editing make the Budget processors point moot.Plus he can use quciksync To Convert his video Files.

I caught wind of a microcenter deal where they sell a i5 4670k and knock off 40$ on the motherboard.

Since The client just wants To play and work, and isn't much of a computer enthusiast,I picked this deal.
i5 4670K(190)+Gigabyte H81m(free)+8GB Generic DDR 3 1600)(70)=260$

The reason For the K processor is that The deal is only available For the 4670k.Any other processor(i5) and it will end up costing more than the 4670k.

So My question is,Will There be any major Drawbacks( for this purpose) with the The H81 Board compared to the b85/H87/z87.This is not an OC rig,Just running at stock With a SSD at most.

A GTX 660 is already In place and the decade old PSU surprisingly keeps it Running good even in furmark.

This is essence is a minimalist Rig With A decent card and Powerful CPU.Is there a reason to Upgrade any Components,Mainly the Motherboard?

I have a n understanding about the differences in the Chip sets.My question is that, Will the lack of Said features will be Detrimental to the system performance?
