So I've found myself in a situation where I have my a10-6800k apu crossfired with a 6670, which is fine for light gaming and all, but I need something a little more and I've decided to get a dedicated card instead of the 6670.

Just an fyi i don't have the money to shell out for a new board and cpu and i've read that the apu is a mid grade cpu, but I've done a lot of research on the bottle neck and that's the problem I'm having, I don't wanna buy a new card and then have it bottleneck on a 1080p tv, and sadly there is little to no information on this at least from what I can find.

I was looking towards getting a dedicated gtx 750 ti with this card .

My question is this, would this card bottleneck with the apu's processor?

Solution

Yes indeed, even an Athlon X4 750K won't be a bottleneck.

A very generic source shows that A10-6800K's CPU scores 5,005 vs Athlon X4 750K scores 4306

Therefore, A10-6800K will not bottleneck GTX 750 Ti.
