Looking for a peripheral but not sure what it's called.

As the title states I'm looking for a device, but I'm not sure what it is if it even exists. So let me just describe it to you guys and see if you can help. I want a device that will (hopefully) fit in a 5.25 bay that has a screen that will sit on my desktop and allow me to monitor things within my case. Either temps, fan speeds, or media center (volume control knob, song name, leds, etc) If this kind of thing doesn't exist then maybe tell me something similar. Thanks for the help guys.
