Problems with second monitor re-sizing when gaming full screen

I play 1600x900 full screen resolution in CS:GO and it re-sizes my second monitor to the same resolution (1600x900) leaving black bars on both the sides and top/bottom of my monitor, but if I tab out it goes back to the native resolutions on both monitors. I would like to keep my second monitor at its native resolution (1680x1050) so is their anyway to prevent that from happening or am I stuck with it? My second monitor doesn't have any scaling options in the menu.

Primary monitor native resolution: 1920x1080
Second monitor native resolution: 1680x1050

Solution
You can have different resolution with dual monitors outside of gaming, but I believe games usually force you to have the same resolution ratio, 16:9 in this case. You can try messing with the resolution from both side and in game to see if anything changes, but if not, then that's how it has to be.
