Please help, ISP noob and need answers

So I have a YouTube channel that's my main source of income (youtube.com/grohlvana) and I need to purchase my own internet since my mom and stepdad shut it off every night because "they can't sleep with the lights blinking" (I know) and I need to upload videos over night.

Now apparently we have a plan from Brighthouse at like 60 mbps, but because I use the wireless I get 12 mbps. As long as I can retain that speed, I don't mind what I use.

Now I know next to nothing about ISP's and speeds and whatever, so I found this and it sounds good: http://www.attsavings.com/att-florida-internet-deal.html#reviews

It's a Florida plan (the "Max Plus one) where I can get 18 mbps for $30 a month. I looked around and couldn't seem to find anything better, so my question is should this be a good deal for me? Again, as long as it's the same speed or higher (or a little less) than what I have now (12 mbps according to speed test) I'm fine.

Please help.

  1. you should be fine with that, but take into account that the slower the internet, the longer it takes to upload a video. but first, as your parents if they can tape a piece of paper over the lights, or put a towel or thin blanket over it at night.

I've been uploading with these speeds for awhile and although it is slow it's fine for what I do, and they will not move on the subject no matter what so this is something I have to do.
