Hello guys,
I'm much more familiar with Intel's cpu such as the i3, i5, and i7.
I was wondering if you guys could help tell me which AMD cpu s are most similar to each of the i3, i5 and i7 performance wise.

Intel is like ferrari without the wheels and AMD only focuses on performance, stability and way much affordable than Intel. Both are good CPU makers . But who is best ?? Don't know .................Maybe Intel or AMD :)

But performance is much better on intel CPU's when 8350 with EIGHT cores is slower than i7 with FOUR cores!

But FX 8350 wins in affordability and is close to the performance of Intel Core i7-3770 @ 3.40GHz

AMD doesn't focus on optimizing their CPUs, they cut corners, do things half assed, then double the number of cores to try and keep up with Intel quad cores and end up using twice as much power to do the same thing. Then they have to sell at a discount price to try to get people to buy their CPUs, whilst still only capturing 25% of the market. There's a reason why Intel can charge more and still have 75% of the market.

8 core CPUs only have 0.29% of the market.

I've always had AMD, but recently they lost their way with CPUs and I switched to Intel.

GPUs are a different story, I have the R9-290 and it is superb, easily matching a 780 and Titan, with a small overclock it matches a 780ti.

But Maxwell will be out later in the year, who knows where that will take us.

AMD is keep falling behind.........So sad

And again no in CPU intensive programs Intel would be faster than AMD's APU's
