You'd still need a decent GPU, and it's got quite a low clock rate, so wouldn't be great. OK-ish, though.

Sure, but why? While you could game on them, dropping a 780, 4GiB more RAM, and a new PSU into the build in your sig would be equal or better performing for far less.
Unless it's a work machine that you want to game on, there's little reason to go for it. That chip is very much for extremely well threaded workloads, which gaming isn't.
