I wonder if it's possible downgrading from Windows 8.1 PRO to Windows 8 without losing files? I bought a new computer that uses Windows 8 and then i used my windows 8 PRO key that somehow was still used on my old pc. Is it possible that i could downgrade back to Windows 8.1 without losing any programs, savegames and such? I appreciate a quick answer :)
EDIT: I have the original key and the windows 8 disc.

In that case, Create a partition for Windows 8 (As big as you can) By going to into windows explorer and right clicking "My Computer" and Select "Manage". from there click on "Disk Management" You should see one or two partitions for "disk 0" right click a volume that is not essential to system boot or recovery and select "Shrink Volume" and shrink it to the minimum, you should have some unallocated space, right click the unallocated space and select "New Simple volume" from there Create the Most Space you can, after that is done proceed to restart your system, when it is starting up you should see white text saying "Press X to enter BIOS settings" the X varies from system to system but the most common ones are F11 Delete And F8, once...

hopefully by the time i wrote all this, no one else has come up with a better answer hahah

Good Luck
