happen to my system as wall - like you i currently have AMD based CPU ( A10-4600M ) system , so the solution that fix the issue for me
was to eject the CPU and reconnect it to the motherboard .
hope it will fix this for you as wall :) .

That is really wierd but is your os 64 bit because 32bit is max 3.85gb ram and 2.97+768 is prety close to that limit if not then try memtest it tests if your memory works without errors.

Glad to know that a manufacture of bios update solve it for you .
than not all manufactors release a bios update that address to solve it and
my solution solve it for me and hopefully to you and others :wahoo:
