My Specs

gigabyte 970a ds3p
corsair cx 430
8 gb 1600mhz
330gb hard drives (2x hdds)
dvd rewriter

and ive got adequate cooling. four 140mm case fans.

i went on catalyst and bumped up the speeds by 35mhz and my power to max. then i tested in unigine and it worked perfectly with increased fps.
then i increased it by about 50 again and unigine froze .please help ive got a beast graphics card that i cant even use properly.

Wait a minute, does it say +300mhz? Or is your clock actually at 300mhz? There's a difference. Post a snapshot of your ccc.

That makes no sense. No graphics card runs at 300mhz as its full speed. Just because its the program I use, download MSI Afterburner. I know how that works well so it'd be easier to troubleshoot. After you download it, look at the graph that measures GPU clock speed. Run unigine as a windowed in the background and tell us what the clock reaches.

ok so im gonna use unigine now but a quick update. i download msi afterburner and it said max clock settings 335mhz and 185mhz which is what i lcocked to before. then i pressed reset and all the clock settings changed to how they should be and auto was enabled. i think this may have fixed the problem but now im going to see if its stable with unigine
