I have monitor of 1366 by 786 max. resolution. Can it support graphics card of higher resolution

I have acer g195hq monitor. when I check out its specifications it says that it have maximum resolution only of 1366 by 786. I want to install a graphics card of higher resolution then this. can it support my monitor. presently I have intel G41 express chipset

Yes, the GPU can support the monitor up to the max res the monitor is capable of. You would just need
to set it in the GPU's software utility suite.

The GPU will be limited on the resolution depending on your monitor. Any card will work on those resolutions.

For a example, if I have a 1920x1080, with a gtx 780 ti, my gpu will regardless, run on those resolutions no problems. Even with 1366 by 786
