So I have been debating over getting the gtx 780 ti or gtx 770 sli for quite some time now and I have every other part ready for choosen. I am looking forward to playing games like BF4, just cause 3, metro last light and watch dogs. I probably will be running two monitors. My budget will be 700 dollars and if you think some sort of crossfirex configuration is better feel free to tell me in the comments below. Thanks for the speedy replies :)

Solution
770 sli is faster in most of the cases. However you will need a bigger PSU, better airlflow in cabinet and SLI will come with its own default problems(can be ignored) like scaling etc.
While the 2 card config will give you more performance now, a single card config will provide more future upgradability.
Personally, I would go with the 770SLI because it will perform today and tomorrow never comes :)

Crossfire is improved but still have more problems than the SLI. And with the skyrocket prices of AMD cards, I would stick with the Nvidia. Good drivers and cool cards also speak in the favour of Nvidia.
R9-280x CF should perform like 770SLI or somewhat slower, and it is already costly. So better stick with 770SLI.
