I switched of my windows 8 toshiba during a system restore and now it wont turn back on

I tried to call toshiba and they said that I would have to send it in for repair but I don't have that type of money right now ... can someone please help . Thank you

From there you can then assess the damage, i.e., OS reinstall, safe mode, etc

I tried it but the computer still won't turn on .. when I plug my adapter in the computer the battery light comes on but the computer itself wont come on.

Some models have a hard reset underneath. Have you checked your user manual?

Otherwise, your only option is to take it apart and attempt to clear the CMOS.
