Hi again, I have the CS750M as i wanted to take advantage of what haswell provides. Haswell or 4th gen allows a extremly low power state that, normal or non compatible haswell psus' cant provide. If I were you I'd get one of the CS M series power supplys or a haswell compatible one.

Its not vital your power supply is compatible but you would have to change the C6/C7 power states in the bios(<I have no idea what that is). I didn't want to have to hassle in the bios so went for a compatible power supply.

Hope this helps :)

Hi, the minimum will be about 150 watts, at peak 300 watts at most. I'd go with a 500watt psu although it overkill its better to be safe and go over, and go with reputable manufactures like corsair, silvestone or antec.

then ill be getting a 500 watts PSU. thanks a lot guys!
oh btw... i just researched some PSU that they are saying like "PSU Haswell Compatible" and ive done some research about corsair's PSU. and this is what ive found.

http://www.corsair.com/en/blog/2013/may/haswell-compatibility-with-corsair-power-supplies

is it necessary for my PSU to be haswell compatible?? bcuz the only cheapest PSU of Corsair to be available that ive found is the Corsair GS600 600w Power Supply (2013 Edition)... i cant seem to find a Corsair CS550M available...

so what do you think??
